with 3 runs utilizing 3 base hits. After an out was recorded, Rondell White
began the Detroit spurt when he lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' (his 12th of
the season). Eric Munson was next to the plate, but was promptly struck out.
Doug Mirabelli then doubled. Kevin Millar was up next and he bombed a
two-run dinger (his 12th of the season) resulting in an exciting win for
Detroit and a wild post-game celebration by the home town fans. Detroit had
9 hits for the afternoon.

The winning pitcher was Brian Fuentes(1-2) who allowed no runs in 1 and 1/3
